BW Flexible Systems, a global leader in flexible packaging solutions for both food and non-food products, announces the grand reopening of its production facility in Mestrino, Italy. The $3 million renovation has resulted in a vibrant work environment, a new Research & Development (R&D) center, and a modernized production plant for the European packaging brands Simionato, Sandiacre, Rose Forgrove, and Schib, which are now unified under the Hayssen brand.
The new Mestrino headquarters enables BW Flexible Systems to consolidate its operations from Vicenza and Mestrino into a single centralized location, bringing all previous brands together under the Hayssen name. By uniting the two Italian teams into one, customers can expect a streamlined experience and continued innovation in vertical form-fill-seal and flow wrapping solutions.
“After three years of unprecedented growth, this consolidation and modernization of the facility is a testament to our success, our commitment to quality, and our mission to deliver an unmatched customer experience,” said Alessandro Stiffan, General Manager of BW Flexible Systems Italy. “We’re excited to better meet the growing needs of our global partners with this renewed space.”
The comprehensive $3 million renovation includes seven new rooms for training, guest visits, and meetings. Additional sustainable building upgrades include a new roof, air conditioning system, elevator, windows, gates, flooring, and furniture. These updates provide a better working environment for BW Flexible Systems team members, improve customer interactions, and more effectively meet the expectations of global clients who demand carbon reduction programs and sustainable manufacturing.
“The extensive renovation has transformed our facility into a state-of-the-art workspace,” said Riccardo Vestali, People Leader at BW Flexible Systems Italy. “With upgraded infrastructure and thoughtfully designed spaces, we are better equipped to support our team’s growth and provide a welcoming environment for our visitors.”
This investment underscores BW Flexible Systems’ commitment to growth and innovation, ensuring faster production times and improved service efficiency for customers. To learn more about BW Flexible Systems, visit the website.
