Fiere di Parma scores a new strategic agreement that will make its two agrifood fairs, Tuttofood Milano and Cibus, the reference platforms also for the art of drinking and mixing spirits and liqueurs: with the entry into the capital of Roma Bar Show. The Parma-based trade fair company confirms its vocation as a multi-sector hub, open to partnerships with Italian and extra-national entities (think of the strategic alliance with Koelnmesse in Cologne).
With the Roma Bar Show deal, which will have to be approved by the shareholders’ meeting, Fiere di Parma aims to enter as a major player in the Spirit Industry market, a sector that, globally, reached an estimated value of around 1.8 trillion euros in 2024, with forecasts of 6 percent growth until 2028, when it could exceed 2.4 trillion euros.
Fiere di Parma, which ranks among the best-performing Italian exhibition hubs in the country and in Europe (compared to the pre-covid period, revenues increased by +11% and EBITDA by +17%), is aiming for a further boost in growth by diversifying its areas of influence, and it is also doing so thanks to its “virtuous management”, as recently pointed out by the Emilia-Romagna Court of Auditors.
